Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MatchZone platform ("Platform"), which provides online gaming tournaments. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. Rules for specific tournaments form an integral part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration (Discord)

To use the Platform, you must be at least 13 years old (or meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). Registration is handled exclusively via Discord. By registering, you represent that you are the authorized owner of the account and grant us permission to access your Discord data to operate the service.

3. Game Account Linking

To participate in tournaments, you must link your primary game account (username, tag, region, rank). The use of "smurf" (secondary) accounts is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to verify these details and penalize any violations.

4. Teams and Fair Play

Users and team owners are responsible for their conduct. Any use of cheats, exploits, toxic behavior, or fraud will lead to immediate disqualification, point resetting, or a permanent ban. We hold the final authority in deciding whether rules have been violated.

5. Leaderboard and Recognition

Participation in tournaments is strictly competitive; no financial or physical rewards are provided. Teams finishing in the top three positions receive cosmetic achievements displayed on their profile within the Platform and leaderboard points, calculated based on Average Combat Score and placement points. These achievements and points have no monetary or material value and are non-transferable.

6. Disclaimer (Riot Games, Steam)

The Platform is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Riot Games, Valve Corporation (Steam), or any other game publishers. The service is provided "as is," and we are not liable for any indirect damages or system outages.

7. Governing Law, Language, and Contact
